Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Pack – Budget 911r Perhaps?

This here is the Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Pack, a take on the car for those who want to do without the wacky wings and who just want a driving experience unlike any other. This car can be said as eerily similar to the 911r which was released last year to rave reviews but was limited to 991 units, making it a collector’s item and expensive to afford.

This car, however, can be said as a sleeper and as a 911 that signifies it best that is a screaming flat 6 engine that redlines to almost 8400rpm, a slick 6 speed manual transmission for heavenly shifting, rear wheel steering for unlimited grip and best of all the complete race car experience without compromising much on comfort.

Like the regular car, this one looks similar except for the spoiler which has been replaced with a retractable spoiler that comes up to the window. The seats have been replaced with Leather rather than Alcantara in the regular one for more comfort. The engine is the same 4.0ltr flat-6 which produces 500bhp and 339 lb. of torque to provide the driver an unadulterated and ungodly sounding naturally aspirated engine.

Since this is the touring package there will be a different suspension tune and the ride and handling will be a little softer compared to the normal GT3. Also, the top speed has been reduced from 318kms/hr to 316kms/hr partly due to the spoiler delete.

All in all, this seems to be a car that the purists have begged for from the beginning and with a regular production cycle one can get it without any exclusivity and enjoy what is probably a driving experience that can shake up the senses like anything.
